I'm curious about the way Friesians grow. I am very good at knowing (by looking) the age of a puppy as I showed/raised malamutes for almost 20yrs. I know that a mal puppy will go thru what we call "the ganglies" at about the age of 9 months thru till the age of about 15 months (this can vary with ea line however). After about 15 months their "bone" comes back.....their legs get thicker....and by the age of about 3-4, what you see is what you get pretty much.
What I'm wondering is: Do Friesians do this also? I'm asking because, although, I think my girl is gorgeous I'm wondering if her legs will get thicker? She JUST turned 4yrs old last week and compared to a lot of the Friesians I saw at the show last weekend, her legs are finer. Also, could this be because she is so tall? 16.2
Thanks for your replies!
