Your choice?
I am always seeing big shanked Pelhams or Double Bridles in the Hunter Ring... Do you think this is fair? Why do they need so much?
I prefer to ride in a French Link Snaffle.. your thoughts?

To me, it looks like they just take their saddle seat horse, switch saddles, and go along in the same bridle and frame. Totally not appropriate hunter turn out as far as I'm concerned. I don't mind a short shank pelham with double reins (no converters! I hate those things but the double bridles are a bit much, no pun intended.

I have to agree with you.. I find more and more horses in double bridles in a hunter class.. and I don't feel like this is appropriate.. but hey they always win! And according to USEF rules - its legal!
